American Suzuki Motor Corporation the official
motorcycle and ATV of the 2008 ABA BMX (bicycle motocross)
Race Series. The 2008 race schedule includes 27 National
events and 13 Pro series events throughout North America.
Suzuki
motorcycles and ATVs are a major sponsor of the

into the BMX events nationwide. This partnership
includes the all new 2008 RM-Z450 motorcycles,
the first mass produced fuel-injected motocrosser,

events.
“We
feel right at home with the staff and the members
of the ABA,” said Mel Harris , Vice President
of American Suzuki’s motorcycle and ATV division.
“This enthusiastic family of athletes thrives on competition
and the need for top-performing products. It’s the
same passion that drives our motorcycle and ATV racers,
and it makes this partnership a natural for Suzuki.”
The sport of BMX is growing and building a great deal
of interest as it prepares for a worldwide coming-out
party of sorts with inclusion at the 2008 Summer
Olympic Games. “We're excited to continue our
sponsorship with American Suzuki. Suzuki is an exciting
company that knows about winning championships. They
really helped take ABA BMX racing to the next level
in 2007 and I look forward to an even bigger presence
for Suzuki in 2008.” said Shannon Gillette,
Marketing Director for the ABA. “We are very proud
that American Suzuki has chosen to promote its products
with the ABA, our tracks, riders, and fan base. This
is HUGE for the sport of BMX racing”
Suzuki
will have a large presence at every ABA BMX National
event, and has scheduled display advertising in ABA
’s BMXer publication as part of its sponsorship. The
ABA will use Suzuki KingQuad ATVs exclusively when
constructing and grooming the individual race facilities.
Suzuki will award all-new fuel-injected RM-Z450 motorcycles
to the 2008 National Champions as well as awarding
the Suzuki KingQuad 400AS to select ABA BMX tracks
